ALM6652 Splint Night Early Fit Adjustable Ventilated Alm
- Early Fit Adjustable Ventilated Night Splint. Use these splints to lessen ankle contractures or to prevent contractures in patients with good ankle ROM. Early Fit Adjustable Ventilated Night Splint customizes the angle to the patient, from 40 degrees plantar flexion to 10-degree dorsiflexion (7 degree increments). Progressive adjustments are easy to track. Optional toe dorsiflexion wedge is available. Tough but flexible polyethylene shell is generously proportioned and cuts neatly and smoothly for customization. Enlarged malleolus areas prevent tightness. The heel is protected in a ballooned area so it never contacts a hard, unyielding surface. Air circulation and foot comfort are uncompromised. Replaceable liners are 3/8" open-cell foam lined with a comfortable cotton terry cloth. Wide strap pads help prevent strap pressure. Bed mobility and staff repositioning are uncompromised. Use on the left or right foot - cut inventory requirements in half. Optional T-Mount can be used to set hip position and rotation. The "T" is Velcro-mounted and sets to any angle. Sizing: Approximate with shoe size. Small fits Women's 4 - 7 1/2". Medium fits Women's 8 - 10, Men's 6 - 8 1/2. Large fits Women's 10 1/2+, Men's 9+.
