- Life saving warmth that fits in a pocket. Used by ambulance, police, and fire units that must work outdoors in all types of weather. Also used as a blanket liner for the bedridden. Windproof and waterproof; evolved from an insulation material developed for space travel. Warmer than wool, remains flexible at temperatures below zero. Silver colored for day or night reflection. The blanket will not rip or tear as long as material is not punctured or cut. Weighs less than 2 ounces. Opens to a full 56" x 84".
