- Drierite Absorbents, Indicating, 8 Mesh, 1 lb., WA Hammond. Absorb 10 to 14% of their weight in water when drying gases. Turn pink when exhausted. Regenerate to original blue color by heating in oven at 218-degrees C (425-degrees F) for 1 hour. No danger of shrinking or channeling. Stable, constant in volume. Nonpoisonous and noncorrosive. Nonindicating absorbent is insoluble in organic liquids.
