KAYEW3BS Walker Pre Adolescent Post Ctrl 4 Whl W/frnt Swiv
- The Kaye Posture Control Walkers are designed as reverse or posterior walkers. When using these walkers, the users face away from the rear bars and towards the open end of the walkers. This design facilitates postural alignment, balance, and components of gait as follows (when compared to traditional, forward walkers). The support behind the user encourages a more upright posture. The handgrips beside the user encourage improved upper extremity position. Centering the user within the walker and over his own feet encourages the development of balance. The rear horizontal bars encourage the user to step forward as he moves the walker forward. Pulling the walker helps the user avoid having to, after each step, stop walking and place the walker further to his front. Equipped as standard, 4-wheeled walkers with the addition of swivel front wheels. Allows the user to turn without having to lift and reposition the walker. Swivel wheels can be locked in the forward-only direction. Equipped with locking rear wheels, to help prevent the walker from rolling backwards and away from the user. For patients 49" - 64" tall. Adjustable height handles from 23" - 30.5". Distance between handles is 15".
