DER1003-02 Collar Cervical Sm Narrow 2X-20-1/2
- DeRoyal Comfo-Eze Foam Cervical Collar. This collar fits around the neck, resting on the shoulders and supporting the cervical spine in way that gives both mandibular (joint that hinges the lower jaw) and occipital (bone that forms the lower posterior part of the skull) support. The 1003-xx series are extra narrow in height (from top/chin to bottom/chest) and are specially designed for the hard-to-fit, heavyset patient. This collar fits around the neck, resting on the shoulders and supporting the cervical spine in way that gives both mandibular (joint that hinges the lower jaw) and occipital (bone that forms the lower posterior part of the skull) support. The foam is a medium density and is covered by a breathable synthetic stockinette. There is also an extra covering that can be removed and washed. The collar attaches by means of a velcro closure. The collars are available in 5 different sizes: X-Small through an X-Large. The X-Small is 19-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches in height; the Small is 20-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches in height; the Medium is 22-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches in height; the Large is 23-1/2 inches by 2 inches in height; and the X-Large is 25-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches in height.
