- Covaderm Plus wound dressing is for use on chronic, acute or vascular wounds and burns, as a primary dressing or a secondary dressing over Multidex or Kalginate, multi-layered composite dressing. Provides wound protection layer by layer: the first layer is a non-adherent wound contact layer to prevent trauma to fragile tissue; layer two is an absorbent pad that wicks drainage away from the skin; layer three is a breathable polyurethane barrier film that provides moisture vapor transmission and creates a barrier to external contaminants; layer four is the adhesive-coated fabric tape; Covaderm Plus is also available with radial slit for tube sites.
