- Flangeless MacIntosh Laryngoscope Blade (Bizzarri-Guiffrida), Medium Adult, Size 3 (130mm). A modification of the MacIntosh Blade with the flange eliminated to minimize the danger of damage to teeth, facilitates laryngoscopy of patients with limited mouth opening because of disease, injury, deformity, etc., and permits maximum anterior rotation of the distal end of the blade. Minimum discomfort when used on a conscious patient. Excellent for laryngoscopy of patients with protruding teeth, receding jaw, "bull neck" or larynx located in an extreme anterior anatomic position.
