- Burnishine Instrument Lubricant is the finest in the industry. It is a unique rust inhibitor and lubricant for surgical instruments. Its dual-purpose corrosion inhibitors protect all types of metal instruments, including carbon steel. The food grade water-soluble lubricant contains no silicone or mineral oil so it will not interfere with any type of sterilization method. Burnishine Instrument Lubricant keeps box locks working freely, it lubricates all joints and protects cutting edges in areas of extremely hard water. It extends the life of surgical instruments and it remains bacteriostatic for 28 days after dilution. Cat # T2 :1-gallon container. Directions: Manual Dilute one part to six parts water. Submerge or spray instruments to be lubricated. Proceed with sterilization method. Automatic Washer: Use 1/8 to 1 ounce per gallon of water in final rinse. Proceed with sterilization method.
