- Transfer benches allow the user to sit down on the edge of the bench, swing their legs over into the tub, and then slide across the seat of the bench into the tub. Two legs of the transfer bench go into the tub while the other end of the bench remains outside of the tub. Standard Padded Transfer Bench. A commode opening affords the user greater comfort and better access for cleaning. Thick, high density foam cushions and backrest for comfortable seating that won't bottom out. Suction cup footpieces secure the bench to tub floor. Lightweight, anodized aluminum frame is height adjustable in 1/2" increments. Side arm and seat handle provide extra stability and leverage when transferring. Weight capacity 300 lbs.
