- Adaptic is a cellulose acetate non-adhering dressing for medium to heavy draining wounds including venous ulcers, skin grafts, suture lines, staples, dermal ulcers, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and recontructive procedures. The exudate easily passes through to the absorbent dressing; no clogging or occlusion of exudate, prevents maceration and pooling of fluid at wound site, prevents dressing adherence; preserves regenerating tissue and reduces patient pain and trauma during dressing changes; no loose fibers left in the wound.
