- This Welch Allyn 3.5 V diagnostic set includes the innovative new PanOptic Ophthalmoscope (student model 11820), wich makes learning much easier by providing a 5x larger view of inner eye. The otoscope (WA2000) has a built in throat illuminator / penlight . Simply detach head for high intensity illumination. The otoscope also provides 30% brighter, whiter light output for superior views and a simple detachable head for two-in-one all purpose high-intensity illumination. The convertible rechargeable handle (WA71000) accepts all 3.5 instrument heads. It is Powered by either a NiCad rechargable battery with a built-in adapter with prongs that enable you to recharge easily, or it can convert to C-Cell operation if needed. Compact hard case is resistant to scuffs and scratches. Zipper on three sides permits case to open flat. Includes molded inserts to keep instruments securely.
